Gauge  

 20 stitches =  4 inches

 10 rows =  4 inches

Finished size 5 x 6.5  inches 









Materials: 

Coboo Weight Category: 3

Around 200 yards for the bag


Weight category 2 for the flowers.

For this project i used Eddie Bauer Adventurer Fine Cotton Yarn


Size 3.50 mm Hook /E Hook conversion chart

Scissors

Yarn needle 


Gauge  

 stitches = inches

rows = inches

Finished size   inches 


Stitches: 


MC = Magic circle


SC = single crochet; insert your hook into the loop, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through both loops.


Hdc = half double crochet; yarn over and insert your hook into the stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, (you have 3 loops on your hook- like a double crochet) yarn over and pull through all 3 at once.


DC = Double Crochet: yarn over and insert your hook into the stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through the first 2 loops,  yarn over and  pull through the last 2 loops 


TR= Triple Crochet:  Yarn over twice and insert your hook into the stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through the first 2 loops, yarn over and pull through the next 2 loops, yarn over and pull through the last 2 loops



ss = slip stitch; insert your hook into the stitch, yarn over and pull through the stitch and the loop all at once



Bag


Chain 22

Round 1:  sc in each stitch across, 3 sc in the last stitch, and sc in the opposite side of the starting chain, continue sc in all stitch on this side too, sc x 2 in last stitch, ss into the first sc

Round 2: chain 2, dc in all stitches around

Round 3: dc in all stitches around this round

Rounds 4 - 15: repeat round 3

Round 16: ch 2, dc, ch 2, skip 2 stitches, dc, dc, ch 2, skip 2 stitches, dc, dc repeat around to the beginning

Round 17: ss into the first ch 2 space, ch 2 dc x 5 into ch 2 space, sc in the next 2 stitches, ss into the next ch 2 space, ch 2 dc x 5 into ch 2 space, repeat around.  Tie off and weave in the ends






Flower

Mc

Round 1:  Sc x 5 inside MC

Round 2:  ss into the first sc, (Petal 1) ch 1 hdc dc tr dc hdc ss, (Petal 2) ss into the next stitch ch 1 hdc dc tr dc hdc ss, (Petal 3) ss into the next stitch ch 1 hdc dc tr dc hdc ss,  (Petal 4) ss into the next sc, ch 1 hdc dc tr dc hdc ss  (Petal 5)  ss into the next sc, ch 1 hdc dc tr dc hdc ss, ss into the beginning.

Drawstring- Make 2 

Chain 70 

Thread one chain from one side of the bag and tie the ends together.

Thread the second chain from the other side of the bag and tie the ends together.


Sew flowers onto each drawstring of the bag.
