Just a simple Mitered dishcloth in patriotic colors. This is a great pattern for Memorial day or the forth of July. Make a few and lay them out on your table for extra patriotic

Materials: Hobby lobby I love this cotton in Red, White and Blue

Color A = Blue

Color B = white

Color C = red

Hook size 4.00 mm / G Hook Conversion chart

Mitered dishcloth in red, white and blue colors

Gauge: 19 stitches and 21 rows = 4 inches

Finished Size: 6.5 x 6.5 inches

Notes:

Make your color change at the end of the previous stitch.

chain one at the end of each row and turn.

ch = chain

sc = single crochet, insert your hook into the loop, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through both loops.

American Flag inspired dishcloth/washcloth

(Color A) Chain 4 slip stitch in the 4th stitch from the hook to make a small circle.

Row 1: sc 3 times into the circle, chain 1 and turn

Row 2: sc, sc x 3, sc (5)

Row 3: sc, sc, sc x 3, sc, sc (7)

Row 4: sc, sc, sc, sc x3, sc, sc, sc (9)

Row 5: sc in the first 4 stitches, sc x 3, sc in next 4 stitches(11)

Row 6: sc in the first 5 stitches, sc x 3, sc in next 5 stitches (13)

Row 7: sc in the first 6 stitches, sc x 3, sc in next 6 stitches (15)

Row 8: sc in the first 7 stitches, sc x 3, sc in next 7 stitches (17)

Row 9:sc in the first 8 stitches, sc x 3, sc in next 8 stitches (19)

Row 10: sc in the first 9 stitches, sc x 3, sc in next 9 stitches (21)

Row 11: sc in the first 10 stitches, sc x 3, sc in next 10 stiches (23)

Row 12: sc in the first 11 stitches, sc x 3, sc in next 11 stitches (25)

Row 13: sc in the first 12 stitches, sc x 3, sc in next 12 stitches (27)

Color change to White Color B

Row 14: sc in the first 13 stitches, sc x 3, sc in next 13 stiches (29)

Color C

Row 25: sc in the first 19 stitches, sc x 3, sc in next 19 stiches (41)

Row 26: sc in the first 20 stitches, sc x 3, sc in next 20 stiches (43)

Color B

Row 27: sc in the first 21 stitches, sc x 3, sc in next 21 stiches (45)

Row 28: sc in the first 22 stitches, sc x 3, sc in next 22 stiches (47)

Color C

Row 29: sc in the first 23 stitches, sc x 3, sc in next 23 stiches (49)

Row 30: sc in the first 24 stitches, sc x 3, sc in next 24 stiches (51)

Color B

Row 31: sc in the first 25 stitches, sc x 3, sc in next 25 stiches (53)

Row 32: sc in the first 26 stitches, sc x 3, sc in next 26 stiches (55)

If you haven't woven in your ends yet, weave them in now.

Then sc around the entire washcloth twice, put 2 sc in each corner.

Tie off and weave in that end.

Next you will want to block your piece.
